FOR THE RECORD – Make no mistake, I enjoy hearing just about any version of "Woo-Hoo," the supremely silly – yet undeniably rockin' – fifties instrumental that's currently being used as background music for a Vonage teevee commercial. But I wish, instead of utilizing the 5678 version of this classic (as heard in Kill Bill, Vol. 1), they'd gone with the even more gonzo original, the Rock-A-Teens' 1959 hit single. (It shows up on a score of old rock 'n' collections, including Rhino's Rock Instrumental Classics.) Now that's some wacky rockabilly. . .
