"'OH, I'M GONNA GET LETTERS FOR THIS!" – Alan Shore's closing testament in favor of religious intolerance notwithstanding, last night's Boston Legal take on Scientologists proved pretty weak in comparison to the job the South Parkers did on the Dianetics crowd over a year ago. Looked to me like David E. Kelley was so tickled to be ramming it to the lawsuit happy religion that he forgot to write a final draft to his script: the case revolving around the allegations of workplace discrimination seemed to be missing more than one telling point. I know we're supposed to be sympathetic to Mister Asperger's Syndrome (all this time – and I don't remember the recurring character's name, just his diagnosis) because his business is threatened by the discrimination lawsuit, but shouldn't we have been given clearer evidence of how much of a pain the plaintiff was?
