LIFE'S LESSONS LEARNED: So we're prepping the house to get it ready for sale, and I spend much of my Saturday putting peel and stick tile down on the kitchen floor. It brightens up the room considerably, but when I'm finished, I realize that I've got a painful rash way way up on my inner thighs. (Yup, right about where you think it is.) It looks, wife Becky says, like a chemical burn, and we realize that because I was sitting all day with legs crossed, wearing shorts, I've apparently had an allergic reaction to the tile adhesive's volatile organic compounds. It's long pants in the future for me!
Oh, and Gold Bond powder is a godsend . . .
